Actually, many years' back, I read of an article on this subject: what are the most important inventions. Accroding to a professor of history (and I fully shared his opinion), the most important inventions in human history are

(a) Language
(b) Writing materials - pen and paper
(c) wheel

They are in fact still the most important inventions because with them, nothing can be made progress.

I think and assert that the biggest thing in the history of human invention is geting their Self Realisation in SAHAJA YOGA by grace of Her Holiness Mataji Shri nirmala Devi.Without knowing ourself any comfort is useless. No doubt we have achieved a lot through invention of internet ,electricity etc.For more information on sahaja yoga log on to

I think that the most important invention in the history of computers was the "personal computer." The first PC was made by IBM in 1981. This was revolutionary for the time because only universities, large business co-ops, and government agencies had computers. Computers had been around since 1936 (Konrad Zuse's Z1 computer) and had evolved from there in the buisness world. IBM's PC was a benchmark in the history of computers because it was the first one on the market for people. The price started at around $3,000.
