Software Programmers Cannot Reach Supercomputers

Although programmers mentioned that in the near future computers will have an unimagined power, they still wonder if today the developers of hardware have gone as far as the developers of software.

Mr. Saied is correct when he says that many programmers do not have an understanding of parallel computing. However, this will not be a concern for the vast majority of software engineers. Modern operating systems already have the ability to distribute work amongst all of the computer's processors. Therefore, this is not a concern for people writing programs for the home or business computer. It is only a concern for the people who write those operating systems or for the people who work in an environment that is not conducive to using a standard OS (super-computing).
