'Jodie Gater myspace' case is full of mysteries. On April 22, 2007 bodies of 16-year-old Jodie and her friend Stephanie Gestier were found in rugged bushland east of Melbourne after they had been missing from their homes in Belgrave for a week.
The girls belonged to the emo subculture, inspired by a type of music full of emotions and confessional tone. Those who are part of the subculture are often introverted, sensitive, gloomy and alienated. They post self-pitying poetry on the MySpace website.
