The amazing space toilet is aimed to be used by the International Space Station crew of three members, to be joined by three more members in 2009. The invention resembles a common toilet. The exclusive toilet costs a great deal of money, but the development of such a high-tech thing would be much more expensive.

The new toilet is able to filter urine into drinkable water. This invention is quite beneficial for astronauts as the process of delivering water into space is complicated and astronauts often have to face the shortage of fresh water. The space crew gets 450 liters of water every few months, still they need much more water considering long periods they spend in space. The filtering system of the toilet removes non-water molecules, including organic urine waste, through filtering layers. According to the specialists, the new system is very effective.
