Arabian Fairy Tales Come to Life in 1001 Hotel

Ancient culture was the main inspiration for the 1001 Hotel that features house rooms the decorations of which are based on different Arabian fairy tales.

The name of the hotel says that there are exactly 1001 hotel rooms and each room has its own tale. The hotel also includes a conference and leisure center. The 525-meter-high hotel has 77 circular floors that are connected to an outside tube construction. It stands on 12 sculptural posts connected with the help of circular bracings.

The double skin facade covers the hotel, featuring built-in LED lights, which, besides illuminating the structure, cover it from harmful sun rays, informs World Architecture News. At the same time the design of the building allows attracting the most of natural light. In addition, porous facades serve as good sources of natural ventilation.
