A Bruce Lee biography movie to be filmed in China

A television series about the Kung Fu legend born in the United States, Bruce Lee, has begun at China state television. The movie includes 40 parts about the famous actor and Kung Fu teacher.

The name of the movie is "The Legend of Bruce Lee" and its budget reaches $6.4 million. The shooting began in the southern province of Guangdong.

It is worth mentioning that Bruce Lee made 46 Kung Fu movies and helped Hong Kong in catching the world's attention. The Kung Fu icon died in 1973 when he was only 32 years old. At that time he was directing in Hong Kong "Game of Death", a movie in which he was also staring. Among his other famous works are the action films "Fists of Fury" and "Enter the Dragon."

Lee started teaching Kung Fu in United States which was against China's traditions. He continued training with champions from different fighting systems. Many of his fans labeled the Kung Fu icon as "the greatest martial artist of all time."

Quoting Bruce Lee, Xinhua said "I'm nervous and also excited, but I will do my best".

I only count five. Also The Legend of Bruce Lee is a 40 part TV series not a movie. Research and defining mediums is this weeks homework for you.

Actually, Bruce Lee made 23 films as a child and teenager in Hong Kong, none of them having anything to do with kung fu, before he went to the States in 1959. Later he was in the 5 martial arts themed movies known worldwide.
