Chinese Man Died of Exhaustion After 3-day Gaming

A 30 year old man from China died after he spent three days playing on-line game. He was so absorbed in a game he did not leave his computer and was supposed to die from exhaustion. The day before the event he fainted and was taken from the cybercafe to the hospital where he died, the Beijing News reported.

Doctors made some efforts to revive him but it seemed that he passed away in the cybercafe. The main cause of gamer's death is overall exhaustion after three days of non-stop gaming. The paper didn't said what game killed the man.

More than 100 visitors who were in cafe left the cafe frightened after witnessing the man's death.

This year Chinese officials were worried about the abundance of adult material in the Internet and banned the openings of new cybercafes. They also limited the time allowed to spend on games in Internet cafes. China is one of the biggest markets for web games and lots of gamers spend hours and days playing online games.
