Need a computer virus?- download now
Computer expert put an advertisement on the Internet offering a free computer virus for everyone willing to have one.
Didier Stevens from Helsinki ran his advertising campaign on Google's Adword for half of the year. As a result of his campaign 409 people clicked on the ad, that said: "Is your PC virus-free? Get it infected here!"
There are several suggestion on people's willingness to download malicious virus said Mikko Hypponen, who conducted the research at data security firm F-Secure. First of all, people must have mistakenly pushed the button, second - curiosity sometimes overcomes natural prudence and thirdly, some people must have been stupid.
In fact, Stevens tried the experiment with no actual virus. He wanted to demonstrate the advertising system can be a good source for everyone including those who have a malicious objective.

- Hippi virus (Only Way to fix is to formate harddrive)
- Sasser (Slows down pc badly more than 2 programs running and pc shutsdown
- W32. Blaster .Worm (Everyone knows this virus very old but changed how viruses work)
- Midnight Massacre (all programs opened are deleted at 12am)
- Loveletter virus (Mean Worm that send it self to everyone on your contacts list)
- Happy '99 (When executed, the infected program opens a window entitled "Happy New Year 1999 !!"
and shows a fireworks display in DOS to disguise its installation.
This worm sends itself to other users through E-Mail when the infected computer is online.
It also Copies itself as Ska.exe Extracts Ska.dll to C:\Windows\System
Modifies the Wsock32.dll file in C:\Windows\System by copying the existing Wsock32.dll to Wsock32.ska.)
- MXZ (Then it will flood there desktop with dll's and also the directory(s) "C:/Windows/" "C:/Windows/System32/"
It also disables Ctrl+Alt+Delete in windows XP.
This virus can cause fatal errors...)
