Divorce Because of a TV Show

A jealous man from Saudi Arabia wanted to divorce his wife, because she liked a TV show hosted by a man. The jealous husband considered this passion as illegal privacy with another man. The woman was very surprised when her husband entered her room and started to offend her while she was watching the TV show. Then he claimed that his wife should leave the house, as he considered that looking at a man on a TV screen was "a kind of temptation and illegal privacy".

However the judge, who was trying to solve the problem of the jealous husband, rejected divorcing the two. He tried to calm the husband and told him that wives were watching TV shows with men-hosts should not necessarily be treated as "illegal privacy" or something slanderous for their husbands.
