Japanese Artists Turn Old Phone Booths Into Giant Aquariums

Payphones are steadily becoming obsolete, but the numerous old phone booths still remain on the streets.
A Japanese art collective decided to turn the old phone booths from Osaka into giant aquariums.

To be able to do so the team waterproofed the boxes and mounted an aeration system that allows to fish to breathe. Interestingly enough, the actual phone was left inside the booth.
