Monkey Greets Restaurant Visitors and Brings Hot Towels When They Leave

Share

A small restaurant located in the land of the rising sun managed to become one of the most visited places in Japan thanks to a monkey named Fuku-chan that works there as a waiter.

The monkey greets the guests of the Kayabuki restaurant and brings them hot towels when they leave. The restaurant is located 60 miles north of Tokyo.

"He has these airs and graces that make him look just like a French waiter at a posh restaurant," said one of the restaurant's diners.

According to the owner of the restaurant, Kaoru Otsuka, it all began when he gave Fuku-chan a hot towel simply out of curiosity.

He was amazed to see that the monkey delivered the towel to a customer, reports The Sun.
