Photographer Creates an 80 Gigapixel Image of London

Jeffrey Martin is the author of the world's biggest picture. The 8 gigapixel image illustrates London in all of its glory.

The panoramic image with the world's highest resolution allows the onlooker to read the time shown on the clock face of Westminster.

It also reveals the life inside various buildings in London and people walking on the city's streets.

Jeffrey Martin made the picture in 3 days. The work is a result of combination of 7886 individual photographs joined together using a Fujitsu CELSIUS computer.

If the picture if printed in its original size, it would be 115 feet long and 56 feet high.

The image can be viewed here.
