Six-year-old Prodigy Creates Amazing Watercolour Paintings

A talented young artist creates wonderful paintings that are adored even by professional painters. The 6-year-old Kieron Williamson started with harbor scenes and today his paintings feature rural views, animal portraits and a variety of landmarks. The talented artist looks forward to open his own exhibition in a gallery in Holt, Norfolk.

According to Kieron's mother, Michelle, 36, the boy didn't draw anything until they decided to take a family holiday to Davon, where Kieron noticed incredible scenery and boats. "He asked for some plain paper and started drawing his own stuff. At the time, they were like the drawings of most five-year-olds but he really took off after going to some art classes," she said.

Kieron's mother is a therapist and is married to Keith, 43, who works as an art dealer. Parents believe that Kieron has become passionate about art mainly because they live in a top-floor flat where there's no garden or outside space, which motivates Kieron to draw things he would like to see.

Artist Carol Ann Pennington is a friend of the family who decided to give some lessons to the young artist. You can find more information about talented people here at www.InfoNIAC.com - please check the links at the bottom of the article.

Kieron said: "I'm going to send one of my pictures to Prince Charles. I've already sent one to the Queen but I haven't had a reply yet." Jeremy Green, an expert in arts and the owner of The Canon Gallery in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, mentioned that it is rather unusual to see such impressive paintings made by a six year old. "Normally they would be splashing colour all over the place. Some of these watercolours have a very rigid structure as if he has been painting in that style for some time," he explained.

i'm not good at art, paintings and stuff, but it's pretty impressive for a 6-year old. I'll agree with anon that in a few years he'll be painting some stuff that'll "blow you off"... or he'll just meet a drug dealer and start sniffing and will ruin his talent

Maldor is no Socrates. I'm just not really sure what I should feel when I read his comment. His choice of words is admirable, but he hardly proves intelligence in the human condition

He's no Picasso. I'm just not really sure what I should feel when I look at this. His conception of form is admirable, but its hardly a commentary on the human condition.
