Artist Creates Sound Architecture IV - Installation Composed of 5,000 Bicycle Bells that Ring With the Wind

Share

Ronald van der Meijs is a talented artist from Amsterdam. He specializes in sculptural art and also makes architectural installations.

One of his latest projects was entitled Sound Architecture IV. To create it, the artists used 5,000 repurposed bicycle bells that were set on steel pins.

The most interesting part of the installation lies in the fact that as the wind blows the bells softly ring against each other.

With his work, the artist wanted to make the wind visible and hearable.

It is worth mentioning that Sound Architecture IV can be viewed in the art garden of the Anningahof Gallery in Zwolle, the Netherlands.
