Why Knot? - Robot that Ties and Unities the Necktie for You


An inventor by the name of Seth Goldstein probably hates doing up his ties, which is most likely why he decided to come up with a rather strange device.

He created a robot that can continually tie and untie a necktie.

The machine is called "Why Knot?" and though it ties the knot on the necktie for the man, the whole process is rather slow, which is one of its main drawbacks.

The second problem is that the robot can only make the "four in hand" tie knot, so if you like other types of knots you will have to invent your own machine. Watch the video below to see the robot in action.
