Women Feel the Happiest at the Age of 28, Study Finds

Share

Twenty eight is the age at which women feel the happiest. Researchers found that at this age women feel quite confident with their body and love life.

The period before a woman turns 30 is when she enjoys sex the most. When they turn 30, women start thinking about growing old, about their future looks, imagining wrinkles and grey hair. It is worth mentioning that the study was conducted by Clairol Perfect 10, a home hair color brand. The company studied 4,000 women aged between 25 and 65. Its spokesman said that everything in life has a pick point and turning 30 is really not that bad.

This is what happens at the age of 30:

- woman's hair looks the best;

- body shape reaches its peak;

- confidence is at its highest point;

- secure job;

- steady income;

- a relationship;

- strong friendships.

"Reaching and surpassing your twenties no longer triggers the downward spiral of your looks and self-confidence. And a little time put aside in hectic schedules for self-pampering and the odd beauty product can help keep you feeling young and looking your best," the spokesman said.

During the survey researchers attempted to find the age at which women felt the happiest in 12 main areas of their life. The results showed that at 28 women are the happiest and at 30 there feel the most satisfied with their career. It was also found that at the age of 28, women have the best sex. However, those who turned 30 have nothing to worry about, because the study found that at the age of 33 women are the most satisfied with their financial situation and at 32 they feel most content with their home and family life.

At the same time the study unveiled that over 60 percent of women consider that they age faster than men. About 56 percent of women have worries that they become less attractive with the age. According to the results of the study, on average women spend about 5 days a year on beauty routine, which is about 22 minutes a day.

Psychologist Corinne Sweet added: "Having a good hair day is essential to success both at work and in love, as many women still feel their hair is their crowning glory." She added that a good hair day could increase a woman's well-being, confidence and self-esteem.
