Pioneer plasma hdtv
The name of this series of LCDs comes from the Japanese "Kuro", which means "deep, dark," a name that is truly deserved (its black color's intensity and depth cannot be compared to any other's black color). The largest model in Pioneer's line is the one of 60 inches, whereas the largest model in Sharp Aquos' line is the one of 65 inches. One of the newest and most progressive models of Pioneer Kuro Plasma HDTVs is 6010, a model that includes a detachable bottom speaker with an integrated digital amplifier, which improves sound's clarity. It also includes such a distinct feature as an optical light sensor that depends on the ambient light and the time of the day.
Another model of this series is PDP-LX508D, which has been voted to be the best among the models of its kind from 50 popular European companies. Its plasma pictures have a great quality, rich colors (especially the black color is extremely deep and intense). The picture processing is highly improved with a lot of new functions that allow the editing of images in all possible ways. Such feature as Intelligent Brightness control is developed for the adjustment of screen's brightness to the ambient light conditions. This model also has a property to reproduce movies in the format of 24 frames per second, a property also found in other LCDs, such as LG LCDs for example.

6020FD from Pioneer Kuro Plasma HDTV series has over 2 million pixels, a home media gallery (a brand new amazing method to store and keep one's photos). This LCD model can also be used as a computer monitor and as an optical digital audio output thanks to its USB and PC inputs.
Like the model analyzed above, this one also has a set of high technologies and settings for the editing of images. Advanced Picture-in-Picture and Picture-side-Picture features allow viewing 2 pictures (or programs) in the same time. Another feature is A/V Selection Memory mode that includes 7 options (Performance, Optimum, Dynamic, Movie, Game, Sports and Standard modes) for everyone's favorite viewing mode. Finally, the natural reproduction of movies, Advanced Pure Cinema feature, is a feature similar to those of other models of the same Pioneer Plasma HDTV Series, and including other series too.
The best and newest models of this series are also DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) certified, which means that they can also be used to enter a home or local area network and even view photos or listen to music directly from different media services. These LCDs can also be connected to Blu-ray players or home cinema systems. They even have the function of receiving satellite signals thanks to the digital satellite tuner integrated in them (all of these functions refer only to the LCDs on the top of the list - with a respective price).
In comparison with other LCD series, Pioneer series LCDs have great advantages, such as: their rich black colors and their great number of picture settings for their adjustment, which is not popular in other series of LCDs. Watching them means entering a new sensory world, a world that assures you perceptions different from anything you've seen or felt before. And, more of all, Pioneer Kuro Plasma LCDs are also available in 6 sizes, for anyone's needs.
