The invention performs two functions - provides shade and produces electricity. It can be widely used in making parking lots and rooftops.

There are two main solar products manufactured by FTL, one is called Powermod 285 (285W) and the other is Powermod 1200 (1200W). Both can be strung together to create a larger shade for different spaces.

The two fabrics can be easily installed, the installation process being similar to that of a tarp. These two latest inventions from FTL Solar can be used to charge cell phones, computers, lights, projectors, and more. Not only are these installations lightweight, there are also flexible, portable and can be connected to battery storage.
