The youngest pregnant woman in Britain became an 11-year-old girl who lost her virginity to a 15-year-old boy. The teenagers met at their friends' party. The boy had since been charged with rape by police.
The girl did not quit smoking even during the last term of her pregnancy. Her mother, who was just 34 year old when her daughter got pregnant, had given birth to her youngest child eight months before the incident. She said she was 'proud' of her daughter. The girl was 12 years and 8 months when she delivered the child. Jenny Teague, the youngest mother in Britain until then, was just one month older when she gave birth in 1997.
